What Does A2LA Certification Mean to
You?
Constellations
Laboratory is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation
(A2LA) to FQA Standards in Chemical, Mechanical and Non destructive Testing. What does this mean to you, the customer?
The A2LA was formed in 1978, as a
practical and efficient organization to develop and manage a system to verify and
recognize competent testing laboratories. The association is a non-profit organization
dedicated to operating a nationwide, broad spectrum laboratory accreditation system. The
intention of A2LA accreditation is to ensure that you are being provided with high
quality, competent technicians, and up-to-date equipment. A2LA certified labs must meet
stringent requirements and must be recertified annually. Each area of certification
includes a specific scope related to ASTM standards.
These accreditations give you the
comfort of knowing that the laboratory you have chosen seeks not only to provide the best
to its customers, but can provide the documentation that proves it has the skills,
equipment, and expertise to provide testing to the highest standards. Specifically
referenced by ISO 9000, A2LA accreditation is internationally recognized.
