MicroMax

The MicroMax is a small, portable spectrum acquisition instrument. It is designed for use with NaI, HgI2, and CZT as well as other low resolution detectors. The MicroMax acquires spectra in "trigger" mode or when connected to a portable computer.

The front panel contains the On/Off switch as well as the detector and computer ports, high voltage, and power indicator lights. The back of the unit contains the port for external power supply and battery access for two AA 1.5V Batteries

The features of the MicroMax include:

  • For portable nuclear spectroscopy with NaI(Tl), HgI2, or CZT

  • Includes MCA, Amplifier and HV power supply

  • 1K MCA with non-volatile memory

  • Programmable Width Gated Integrator with Auto-PZ, Auto-BLR, and PUR

  • Battery Operated
