MicroMax OEM MCA Board>
The MicroMax MCA
board is a compact, low power, multi-channel
analyzer component card with a patented automatic pole-zero control
circuit. It is configured with numerous input and output ports for
instrument design integration flexibility.
Designers of nuclear equipment and instruments
appreciate the low power usage of the MicroMax MCA board
allowing improved operating time for their devices. In addition, with a
board size of 3 inches by 1.5 inches and a thickness of only 0.255 inches,
it is a logical choice when designing handheld instruments.
However, the MicroMax MCA board offers many detector
possibilities. The high rate amplifier and MCA with automatic pole zero
circuitry provides the capability to support NaI(TI), HgI2, or
CZT detector materials, as well as other similar low resolution detectors.
The board also contains non-volatile storage capabilities for up to 8
spectra, which can be downloaded via the RS-232 communication interface.
Since customization is important to the designer, the
board offers two auxiliary analog in and one analog out ports, as well as
four
digital input/output ports. Fully programmable control settings make it
possible to produce field up-gradable instruments.
